DescriptionBracket clock; arched hood molded on front and sides with brass handle on top; straight sides; circular enamel dial at front covered with slightly domed glass face; plain case with spandrels outlined with bands of lightwood inly; band of molding above skirts of base which is cut out in scrolls across front, plain on sides; supported on brass ogee bracket feet back has arched door which opens to reveal works.Mark(s)"V.P.A.Brevete/S.P.G.G." stamped in inscribed oval at bottom of back of replaced works; two modern paper repair labels pasted inside door:"The ? Watchmaker's ? Broad St., Richmond, Va 1-16-41 NSR" and "106 W. Erda?? St., Richmond, Va 7/26/32 NSR;" "MD1/S" in pencil-door
