DescriptionPatch box: Oval with slightly domed lid with steel reducing mirror, pinchbeck mounts, hinged in back with triangular extending thumbpiece in front. Lower section waisted with fluted panels, the interior white and the exterior of a deep blue color painted with white enamel floral sprays. On cover is colorful scene with a girl in red dress on a swing outstretched between two trees; a man in the lower right corner gestures upward towards her; to the left is a man in blue, yellow, and red fishing while a woman in a red and white dress stands beside him; a manor house amidst a farmyard with barn and cows in the background.
