DescriptionTobacco jar: tin-glazed earthenware jar of baluster shape with slightly flared lipped mouth; decorated in blue with a large cartouche of scrolls and diaper pattern, and a stylized basket of flowers at the top. The cartouche encloses the word "CAROLINA".Mark(s)Three bells in blue forming a triangle, and "VI" scratched in beneath the glaze on the underside of the foot.
