DescriptionColorless lead glass bowl supported on a slightly flaring cylindrical folded footring. The bowl painted in white enamel with "JOHN & MARGt (superscript "t") : DIXON" in Roman capitals above the Gothic lettered "HAWKWELL / 1764". Flanking inscription and continuing around rim are a series of c-crolls below a diaper pattern composed of a grid of dots with trefoil corner and 4 dot center filling ornament.
