DescriptionLong white linen/cotton waistcoat; almost straight front buttoned with 15 thread covered buttons (3 different types) and worked buttonholes; fronts worked in floral pattern of intricate "white work" (linen thread) embroidery. Back is of plain fustian; fronts lined with natural linen. Stitches: French knots, buttonhole, satin, couching, drawn work, eyelets.
