DescriptionPlow plane of standard rectangular shape. The lower edge of the discharge side is rabbeted to receive the iron skate, secured to the body with four iron rivets. A section of an iron carpenter's square or rule serves as a working-life replacement fence, and is graduated, by the eight inch, from 1" to 10" (attached with 4 iron rivets). Top and side edges have narrow flat chamfers. Fitted with a hooked iron and a wedge with a flat-backed “D” shaped finial and simple single curve notch.
