DescriptionSmall, dry-bodied stoneware, covered sugar dish. The clay stained drab. Bowl with wide band at rim, handles on either side of the bowl flare out and petal-shaped. Lid trimmed slightly more on the bottom half than the top leaving the top half slightly proud of the bottom and completed with a simple knop finial.ProvenanceEx. Coll: John C. Austin1790-1810
