DescriptionWoman's single pocket made of pieced printed and plain cottons and linen. Pieces are from 2 ½ to 2 ¼" square. Pocket edges and vertical slit opening are bound with solid blue plain-woven cotton or linen. Lining behind piecing is blue and white striped ticking. Backing is plain-woven linen. Later paper tag reads, "From the home of Naddie [or Nabbie] A. Pearce Little Compton R. I."ProvenancePearce family member, Little Compton, Rhode Island.
