DescriptionChinese export porcelain pear-shaped teapot, decorated over the body of the pot en grisaille with gilt highlights depicting a stylized floral decoration. In the center of each side of the pot is a cartouche containing a pair of roosters with iron-red highlights. The spout is straight and both the spout and handle are undecorated.ProvenancePreviously in the collection of Stuart and Betty Brown.
