DescriptionWoman's neck handkerchief (or kerchief) in elongated triangle shape to be worn folded lengthwise around neck. Semi-sheer cotton ground worked with whitework decorating two corners and forming scalloped edges. Design consists of leafy oval from which emanate sprays of leaves, daisies and bell-shaped flowers worked in satin stitch, stem stitch, and eyelets; scalloped edges worked with buttonhole stitches.
