DescriptionCreamware "fruit basket" pattern milk jug and lid, the baluster-form body molded on either side with a wickerwork basket of assorted fruit and foliage picked out in manganese-brown, teal-blue, ochre, and green, the basket handle separating the fruit clusters and entwined with flowering vines, the jug handle of grooved ear shape, and the domed cover with a flowerhead knop.ProvenancePurchased from David Newbon, London, England, 6/2/1978Previously owned by Harry H.
