DescriptionHigh post bed, four posts, octagonal and tapering above and below blocked central section; lambs tongue formed where corners of posts join blocked section; arched headboard with twelve flat, vertical slats mortised between headboard and rail; rectangular footboard with twelve flat, vertical slats mortised between footboard and rail; four rails, square section, beaded on edges and pierced with rope holes. Head and foot assemblies are pegged together as units.
