DescriptionWoman's gown of silk taffeta brocaded with silk in a design of butterflies and floral sprays. Bodice, closing in back, has low, wide round neck and point at waistline in front. Lined with linen. Boning in back and under arms. Sleeves have short double puff. Full skirt pleated at waist, slightly longer in back, lined with sheer linen gauze. Cording on neck and waist.
ProvenanceAcquired in 1930 from a Richmond, Virginia, woman.
