DescriptionThis is a double-woven, center-seamed bedcover that is self-fringed at sides and foot. The side borders consist of a double row of leopards and monkeys. The foot border is large grape leaves and bunches of grapes. The field alternates a motif of airy floral tracery laid out in a shield-like design with a densely-patterned, tulip-filled, eight- pointed star.
