DescriptionWoman's brown gown of fine ribbed silk. Bodice has wide neckline without collar. The bodice has gathers extending from the center front waistline and radiating outward toward the shoulders, caught down with horizontal piped bands. Long full sleeves have fullness pleated below a puffed and ruffled cap. Sleeves end in inset gathered bands at wrists. Full skirt is pleated at waist, with a gathered flounce at hem.
