DescriptionOne of two side chairs; serpentine cresting rail, molded on upper edge; slightly shaped, stiles, molded on front and rounded at rear; broad, pierced and interlaced splat with Gothic arch at top and trefoil at base; flanked by molded C-scrolls; splat mortised into shoe with gadrooned upper edge; trapezoidal stuffed seat; front legs, square in cross section, flaring slightly to rear; legs braced by four, rectangular stretchers, one at each side, one medial and one at rear.Mark(s)"W. Huntsman" in rectangle below crown, stamped twice on rear seat rail of each chair.
