DescriptionOval, pierced basket: Broad oval body with applied beaded molding at edge; sides pierced with two rows of continuous slotting bordered by narrow bands of repeated husks; husks emblessed with punched detailing; bail handle attached with pivots in centers of long sides with beaded borders and fluting on either side and scrolled and foliated cartouche on upper face and center; body supported on short, flared oval base with slotted sides.ProvenanceC.
