DescriptionFan case with a slightly flattened cylindrical shape with removable lid. The case is decorated with green wallpaper with white sprig design and yellow, orange and pinkish paint in seemingly random areas over the green base.ProvenanceUsed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Anna Clifford (1755-1812). She married Jacob Giles, Jr. at the Market Street Meeting House, Philadelphia, October 7, 1773.
