DescriptionContinental currency. "The United Colonies THREE DOLLARS. This Bill entitles the bearer to receive Three Spanish milled Dollars, or the Value thereof in Gold or Silver, according to the Resolutions of the CONGRESS, held at Philadelphia, the 10th of May, 1775. III DOLL."

Serial No. "45340".

R. Tuckniss was Indian Commissioner of Province of Pennsylvania, 1758; Provincial Indian Agent for west side of the Susquehanna , 1750s.

Robert Roberts came from an old, established Pennsylvania family and was a member of the 1st city troop of Philadelphia.
