DescriptionThis is a framed needlework picture of a bouquet of flowers, worked in chain stitch on satin; a bouquet of thorned roses, carnations, and a gray (originally lavender ?) flower, and several of their buds and leaves, are tied together at the stem with a blue striped ribbon. The chain stitch has been executed in shades of green, blue, coral, gold, brown, and black silk thread (with the flowers and leaves embroidered usually in naturalistic colors).Mark(s)Remains of a navy blue paper label for A.
