DescriptionWoman's cap of white lace, embroidered netting, and silk ribbons. The sheer crown is made of net embroidered with sprigs of triple leaves, surrounded by pleated white and lavender silk ribbon striped in the warp and patterned at the edges. Across the front of crown, overlaying the ribbon, is a band of wire and silk flowers. The outer borders of the cap have triple tiers of lace with clusters of striped ribbons at the ears and a bow at the center back.
