DescriptionTeapot and cover in the linglong (Ling-lung) style - a type of double-walled pierced decoration that was first popularized in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The outer wall of the teapot has panels of reticulation, decorated with flowers and gilded scrolling foliage. The corners of the pot are ornamented with flowers in lozenge-shaped cartouches.1800-1815
