DescriptionSplat back side chair: Arched and molded cresting with serpentine stiles, also molded. Pierced vasiform splat with Prince of Wales feathers in upper portion, flanked by serpentine uprights, the outer ones of which curve inwards and terminate in scrolls at top. Seat serpentine in front; bowed at sides; upholstered over the rails with brass tacks at base. Rear legs square in section; "kick out" at back. Front legs also square in section; tapering, with molded fronts and outer sides. Side, rear, and medial stretchers rectangular and plain.Mark(s)None found.1790-1800
