DescriptionRectangular table with overhanging top with mitered batten ends and rounded edges; straight skirt with drawer in one side; drawer with molded edge and center brass drawer pull; legs square at and just below skirt, pinched in and then rounded, turned, and tapered below with pad feet on high discs.Drawer construction: standard dovetail construction of sides, front, and back; front to back oriented two board drawer bottom chamfered at front and rear and in dadoes in inside faces of front and rear, loosely butted against sides with no fasteners or joints.ProvenanceChristian family, Williamsburg, VA.
