DescriptionInfant child's cap of green silk constructed of three panels, each panel embellished in a scrolling floral and leaf design needleworked in floss silks in pinks and yellow-green. Red silk tape binding is a later replacement. Lined with linen and cotton, loosely-woven in plain or tabby weave and napped (possibly called "fustian").
