DescriptionDining table in three parts: Pair of half-round ends with flat, semi-circular top; short, curved veneered skirt, shaped on lower edge; straight rear skirt, shaped on lower edge; four straight legs, "square" in section, chamfered on inside edges; Center section: flat, rectangular top with deep, rectangular leaf on either side; straight skirt at either end with shaped lower edge; table supported by four legs, "square" in section, chamfered on inside edge with two additional legs which swing out to support leaves; sections fit together by means of short mortise and tenons at ends of top and are locked by brass catches attached to corners of all three sections; half-round end sections can also be joined together to form small, circular table; pair of holes in rear skirt of each section probably designed to hold rods (now missing) to lock ends in place.Inscription(s)Printed label on underside of one end section: "Barnby, Bendall & Co.
