DescriptionFlattened cylindrical fan case with separate lid, made of paper-board covered with pink and white marble-patterned paper. Written around edge of case are the words "Suffolk Miss Catharine Reid".ProvenanceWritten on a later tag is the history: "Catharine Reid was the Sister of Elizabeth Reid--wife of Capt. Ed. Allen and dau. of John & Mary Reid."
