DescriptionWavy edged platter with arms and crest of the Parker family.Inscription(s)Arms within an elaborate baroque cartouche with motto below of the Parker family engraved on face of rim with crest of the Parker family on opposite side of rim.Mark(s)Touch mark a pair of dividers with a globe below framed by "IOHN" and "CARPENTER" in curved reserves above and below and foliated scrolls on either side on underside of well (London Touch Plate III, 718; Cotterell 810).
