Descriptiontwo-handled cupLabel TextThis splendid cup is as fine an exemplar of its type as survives. Its form and condition leave nothing to be desired. A similar cup in the possession of London's Worshipful Company of Pewterers has "GOD SAVE QUEEN ANNE" relief-cast in large letters on one side of its body and the arms of the Pewterers' Company on the other. Cups of this size were not only intended for individual use, but could be passed by the handles for communal toasting and drinking as well.

The mold marks, clearly seen among the alternate flutes and gadroons, indicate that the body was cast in a three-part mold.
