DescriptionThe body of the doll is made from a crotch of wood with the bark still on it and bound with flax and rags. She is fashionably dressed in a long gown with very full sleeves tapering at the wrists. She has no facial features but does have hair. She wears a large hat made of lace. She was possibly made in the New Haven, Connecticut area.1840-1899
