DescriptionSplat back side chair; slightly bowed cresting rail, straight stiles, flat in front, chamfered on rear edges; solid, vase shape splat, attached in unusual manner, by three iron bolts, to back of seat rail; "square" seat frame with incised line around outside top edge; underside of seat rail shaped slightly on either side of front legs and on front edge of rear legs; front legs "square" in section, tapering back at bottom and chamfered on all edges; three rectangular stretchers with rounded top edge; single turned stretcher between rear legsMark(s)"I", "II", "III", "IV" on seat rails
