DescriptionTABLE; straight skirt on all sides with quarter round molding at bottom outer edge; straight legs, circular in section, tapering outward from top to bottom and with moldings near top and base; legs rest on a block square in section over worn flared feet; one stretcher at each side circular in section with moldings at each end and rectangular block in center; on medial stretcher matching stretchers at each side with raised moldings at intervals; skirt, legs, and stretchers retain evidence of original red paint.Top replaced ca. 1900, with battens across underside of top boards in notches cut in table frame; later (ca. 1900) cut in side of skirt for drawer.Mark(s)Three scraps of newspapers adhered to portions of top.
