DescriptionShallow bowl with cylindrical foot ring and a punchwork band of interlocking circles below the rim. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue with dots and swags around interior and exterior of openwork; landscape of trees and rocks on interior base.Label TextJudging from the number surviving, bowls of this sort were a popular product of Delamain's factory. Most are painted with the same style landscape, which is also seen on a number of plates. On the majority of Dublin bowls the piercing gives the appearance of a series of interconnected rings, whereas on the English examples the rings are spaced farther apart, giving a more open look.
