DescriptionTurned armchair with early turned finials, the stiles are lightly turned and scribed. This same treatment is repeated in the vertical spindles of the back. The arms and the legs are turned and scribed. There is a pair each of two turned front and side stretchers with a single stretcher at the back. The front legs are surmounted by an early suppressed ball turning sometimes called a 'mushroom', rush seat.1750-1800
