DescriptionCircular, shallow, bowl-shaped saucer; wavy edge; molded in relief with swelling, overlapping acanthus leaves; six-petal flower in center; reverse is molded like face with the addition of a tri-lobed footring.Label TextIn 1935, when the first attempt was made to record the forms of Chelsea's triangle period, no saucer in the strawberry-leaf pattern could be located. Not until 1954, almost twenty years later, were the first two saucers in this pattern recorded. This third example was found and published in 1963.
