DescriptionSoft-paste porcelain urn with concaved neck, inverted pear shaped body and spreading foot. The exterior is decorated in underglaze mazarine blue highlighted with gilded flowers and scrolls. There are two reserves, one on either side of the urn. One reserve is decorated with an image of a woman on a path lined with trees. She wears an orange skirt with purple details, red-violet bodice with blue sleeves, and a blue head piece. The second reserve is decorated with the image of a musician on a tree lined path. He wears blue pants, red-violet jacket, orange cape, red hat with feathers, and holds a guitar. On either side of the urn are Rococo style handles with feathered terminals, highlighted with gilding. The molded foot of the urn has a scroll pattern highlighted with gilding.
