DescriptionRound deep bowl, the exterior molded and painted as cabbage leaves, with green edges fading to yellow then white and purple central vein. The interior painted with four flying insects.

Label TextSeveral bowls in this shape appear in the two red anchor period Chelsea catalogs including "a cabbage leaf bason" and "an old leaf bason."
