DescriptionTin-glazed earthenware plate (delftware) decorated in blue with the inscription "I T" / "1701" within a canted-cornered lozenge-shaped cartouche extending from the top of the rim to the center of the well. The cartouche surmounted by a crown and flanked by two winged griffins. A cherub head, c-scrolls and bell flower swags define the lower half of the cartouche.
