Petticoat is flat in front, with pleats beginning just forward of hips and continuing to center back closure. Front of petticoat has partial ruffle halfway down; similar ruffle goes all the way around the hemline. Top of ruffles is trimmed with reverse of silk band, giving ombre effect. Waistband made of self fabric. Linen pocket sewn into petticoat seam on right side, corresponding in position to single pocket slit on gown #1.
