DescriptionClose stool (commode chair): arched crest rail and rectangular stiles of walnut. Solid, vase shaped splat of pine. Removable rectangular pine seat with central opening and leather-hinged pine cover. Deep, straight skirts of pine. Square walnut legs with chamfered corners. Front, side, and rear rectangular pine stretchers.
