In the upper right hand corner is written "Artis work by E.A."Label TextThis drawing was purchased by Robert Mather in May 1968 at an art fair held at the newly constructed St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Austin. Mather was an architect who taught at the University of Texas at Austin and is best known for his mid-century modern design for St. Martin's. It is not noted in the ledger whether Mather purchased his drawing from Sackton, but both men taught at the university and may have known one another.ProvenancePurchased from the artist by Robert G.
