DescriptionDrawing of an aerial view of a train bridge crossing over a highway. Both the grey road and grey and yellow train tracks are outlined by green and set against a brown background. Mather was an architect who taught at the University of Texas at Austin and is best known for his mid-century modern design for St. Martin's. It is not noted in the ledger whether Mather purchased his drawing from Sackton, but both men taught at the university and may have known one another.ProvenancePurchased from the artist by Robert G. Mather; gifted his daughter and son-in-law, Richard and Emily Mather Phillips (Austin, TX); 2025, given to The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (Williamsburg, VA)
