DescriptionSaucer: circular saucer with short foot ring; decorated with a black line at the rim and then an interior border of a blue-husk chain interrupted by a wavy line of red dots; the well painted in green, pink, purple, orange-red and black with a large leaf and flower cluster surrounded by six small flower sprigs.ProvenanceDescended in the Tucker families of New York and Bermuda. Passed down to Catharine Fitch Tucker [February 28, 1879-August 22, 1970] of Paget, Bermuda, who gifted the piece to her nephew, Edward Bolton (Teddy) Tucker, MBE [May 8, 1929-June 9, 2014]; it then descended to his daughter Wendy Susan Tucker who subsequently gifted it to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in 2024.
