DescriptionDish: large oblong rectangular dish with transfer printed decoration showing a scene of Cape Coast Castle on the Gold Coast, Africa, surrounded by a shell and floral border.Mark(s)The reverse bears the impressed mark "E. WOOD & SONS BURSLEM / SEMI CHINA / WARRANTED" with an impressed eagle derived from the US Great Seal. There is also an impressed "19" on the underside.
