This table came out of a house in the general Williamsburg area in the 1950s and likely was made either on the peninsula or Southside (south side of the James River). Made of local Black walnut, this simple but elegant table could have been used for various purpopses within a home.ProvenanceDealer says in letter (see Object File) that tables 1954-307 and 1954-308 were acquired near Williamsburg.
