DescriptionTeapot: miniature or toy pearlware teapot decorated in blue with loop handle and straight spout. The body rises slightly to canted shoulder and high neck. The low-domed lid has a tapered oval finial. The pot is painted in blue on both sides with a chinoiserie style building in a waterscape with grass and a flower on each side of the building and stylized birds flying overhead; concentric bands of blue with adjoining scalloped bands encircle the juncture of the shoulder and neck and the rim of the lid. The spout, handle, shoulder and lid are decorated with stylized lines. The tip of the spout painted blue.
