DescriptionMain title: "VIRGINIA"Label TextFielding Lucas worked as an engraver for Henry Charles Carey (Mathew Carey's son) and Isaac Lea (his son-in-law) in Philadelphia before founding his own publishing house in Baltimore. In 1823, Lucas published "General Atlas Containing Maps of All the Known Countries in the World, Constructed from the Latest Authority."
