DescriptionTin-glazed earthenware dish with fluted border, decorated in cobalt blue with a stag, hunter, and tree within an arcade border. A "2" painted on the reverse as well as six sets of double lines and cross marks.Inscription(s)The number "2" painted on the underside within the footring.ProvenanceIn 2005 with Jonathan Horne (London, England). Acquired by the donor in 2005 (Williamsburg, Virginia). Given to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in 2016 and with the Foundation to the present (Williamsburg, VA).
