DescriptionThis chair rail section from the parlor consists of two pieces, a central torus nailed onto a board with a small ogee and large back ogee at top and a large ogee at bottom. There are three small cut-off nail/brad shanks on the reverse (two at the bottom and one near the top). There are two paint reveal windows that were used for analysis during the 1929 restoration of the building.Label TextThis circa 1753 section of chair rail is from the parlor of the Seymour-Powell Tenement.
