DescriptionTeapot: globular body with a short angular spout opposite the c-shaped handle; integrated lid with bulbous knop and steam hole next to the knop. The body painted with chrysanthemums and peonies in underglaze blue, iron red, and green, with traces of gilding. The lid and mouth of the teapot painted with borders of blue, red, and gold lotus leaves radiating from concentric blue lines. The top of the knop painted blue and the terminals of the handle and spout encircled with blue.ca. 1750
