DescriptionChandelier: Composed of individual cut glass elements supported by a central iron shaft. There are two tiers of glass arms supported by copper alloy socket plates. The socket plates are padded where they contact the glass elements by dark leather washers. Each arm has a glass candle holder with a detachable bobeche. The upper tier consists of six small arms alternating with six crooks. The crooks are decoarated with glass prism drops and the arms are decorated with glass spheres. The lower tier consists of six large arms alternating with six medium arms. All of the arms are decorated with glass prism drops and either fleur-de-lis or obelisks.ProvenanceSource: J. A.
